Live this Life

Ok, I totally don't agree with everything this songs says, mostly the 3rd verse, but I still like the song. Fyi, it's by Big and Rich, the best country group there is in the world!

"Live This Life"

Met a man on the street last night
Said his name was Jesus
Met a man on the street last night
Thought he was crazy till I watched him heal a blind man
Watched him heal a blind man now I see

I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk
With patience through that open door
I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore

Met a girl in a chair with wheels
But no one else would see her
Met a girl in a chair with wheels
Everyone was so afraid
To even look down on her
And she just spread her little wings and flew away yeah

I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk
With patience through that open door
I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore

Met a kid on a bridge last night
Contemplating freedom
Met a kid on a bridge last night
And he said
I'm tired of this maddening life
And I'm ready to go meet Jesus
And I said he's a friend of mine
Met him just last night
And it's alright
Yeah it's all right
Yeah

I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk
With patience through that open door
I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Live here anymore

Met a man on the street last night
Said his name was Jesus
Met a man on the street last night

You're Still You--Josh Groban

The Gallivanting Maunder

"You're Still You"

Through the darkness
I can see your light
And you will always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine
Your face I've memorized
I idolize just you

I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
I've loved you for so long
And after all is said and done
You're still you
After all
You're still you

You walk past me
I can feel your pain
Time changes everything
One truth always stays the same
You're still you
After all
You're still you

I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
And I believe in you
Although you never asked me to
I will remember you
And what life put you through

And in this cruel and lonely world
I found one love
You're still you
After all
You're still you

The Gallivanting Maunder

"Men kick friendship around like a football but it doesn't seem to break. Women treat it like glass and it goes to pieces."

Susannah showed me that quote. I wonder who said it? Because it is as true as anything!

Well.

Babysat today. I am good @ pushing kids on swings! That is all we did today! "Push me! I want to go high!" "Make me go higher than she is!" And then while I was comforting Andrew (he had fallen), every two minutes I would hear "Push me now!" Hold on a second, I have to make sure Andrew's ok. "Well, put him down!" Hang on! "Push me!!" Can't you push yourself? "No." It looks like you're doing a pretty good job right now! "no." And so on and so forth! Oh well. It was slightly fun.

We went to see Out of Murder, Out of Sight. Susannah was the slutty maid, which is so un-Susannah that it was funny! I sat through all of her lines laughing inside b/c there's Susannah, acting like someone she will never, ever be. But she did a good job. The play was stupid like Becky said, but it was ok.

It is 39 days until I can, and will, get my license! I really cannot wait to drive. To be free to come and go whenever I please (with in certain restrictions of course). Call up a couple a friends and say, hey, lets go hang out until 8:45. Hmm.....that'll be nice.

Amber, Erin, Susannah, Stacie, Katie-Beth, Juli-Anna, Georgia-Ann, Becky and I went to Pizza Inn after the soccer game. It was pretty crazy! I hope we didn't annoy anyone. We got pretty loud. I really meant to take the camera too, but I left it in the van when we left. Oh well. Loud noises and camera flashes probably would have been too much.

Becky says I'm camera happy. Perhaps. But what fun is a camera, especially a digital one, if you don't use it? So who cares if I take 40 pictures of old buildings??? I love old buildings! On our way to Brevard there are so many old barns and houses....I nearly had a conniption fit b/c we could stop and take any pictures!!! Wow. Maybe I'm a little obsessed? But seriously, sometime, once I have the fore mentioned license, I will just have to go drive around and take pictures of all these cool places that in 5 years most likely will have fallen down or been knocked down by over zealous contractors trying to fulfill the housing need put in place by yankee retireres moving here, and there fore changing everything that they may have liked about the area! ! Shoo-wee. That was one run on sentance! I have to catch my breath after writing it!

Ok. That's it for now folks!

Peace out!

The Gallivanting Maunder

The Gallivanting Maunder

Well, soccer season is almost upon us. Today was scrimmage and photo day. So the season offically starts next week. I had an AR today and then a U8 girls. The U8 was pretty fun. One of the coaches works @ Grace Luthern in the daycare..so she reconized me, and that was pretty cool. I survived pretty well, I still have that awful cold and literally tons of congestion. Erg, hate it. Well, I have started to get the tan lines that I will fight agenst the entire summer... oh well. I like reffing and I like the money, so it's not really that big of a deal. I do wish that whoever made the uniforms would make them tan through. Anyway...

Well, I reckon thats about it. Later y'all.

Carolina wins National Championship!

YES!! Carolina beat Illinois to win the NCAA championship! They won it 75-70. I am so happy! It was a very close game! A good game! And scary! But the Tar Heels won!! Yeah baby!!!!! I am so happy! I wanna yell! Yea yea yea! Ok. Anyway, I think I'll go to bed now! It's late and I'm still sick, so staying up this late really wasn't all that smart! Oh well. Shoot me. I can die happy now. G'night!

hallo out there

Why must I make so many typos? It really isn't funny...maybe for other people, but not me! Sigh. Oh well.

I meant to update before posting all those pictures, but blogger was mean and lost my post, so finally here I am to clue y'all in!

The first two pictures are me and Becky with Nicole--her and her sister Claire are moving, well, have moved to New Hampshire. They did go to our church and those are a couple of the pictures we took on Wednesday (their last night @ church).

Then there's the picture of Becky with our friends Kaitlin and Samantha. We went to Asheville with them on Friday. We had tons of fun!!

Anyway...I am sick and tired of hearing of the pope. Erg, he was just a man! A human! Hm...well.
I am sick and tired. Like sick. So not fun. Sore throats are painful and head aches hurt. But, I am getting better. So of course, I'm happy about that!

Well.

Strange as it seems, no amount of learning can cure stupidity, and formal education positively fortifies it.
Stephen Vizinczey

Anna Pavlova

Keep it real y'all!

And Tar Heels rule!

All this Joy

The Gallivanting Maunder

All this joy, all this sorrow
All this promise, all this pain
Such is life, such is being
Such is spirit, such is love

City of joy, city of sorrow
City of promise, city of pain
Such is life, such is being
Such is spirit, such is love

World of joy, world of sorrow
World of promise, world of pain
Such is life, such is being
Such is spirit, such is love

All this joy, all this sorrow
All this promise, all this pain
Such is life, such is being
Such is spirit, such is love

Such is spirit, such is love
