The Gallivanting Maunder
"Men kick friendship around like a football but it doesn't seem to break. Women treat it like glass and it goes to pieces."
Susannah showed me that quote. I wonder who said it? Because it is as true as anything!
Well.
Babysat today. I am good @ pushing kids on swings! That is all we did today! "Push me! I want to go high!" "Make me go higher than she is!" And then while I was comforting Andrew (he had fallen), every two minutes I would hear "Push me now!" Hold on a second, I have to make sure Andrew's ok. "Well, put him down!" Hang on! "Push me!!" Can't you push yourself? "No." It looks like you're doing a pretty good job right now! "no." And so on and so forth! Oh well. It was slightly fun.
We went to see Out of Murder, Out of Sight. Susannah was the slutty maid, which is so un-Susannah that it was funny! I sat through all of her lines laughing inside b/c there's Susannah, acting like someone she will never, ever be. But she did a good job. The play was stupid like Becky said, but it was ok.
It is 39 days until I can, and will, get my license! I really cannot wait to drive. To be free to come and go whenever I please (with in certain restrictions of course). Call up a couple a friends and say, hey, lets go hang out until 8:45. Hmm.....that'll be nice.
Amber, Erin, Susannah, Stacie, Katie-Beth, Juli-Anna, Georgia-Ann, Becky and I went to Pizza Inn after the soccer game. It was pretty crazy! I hope we didn't annoy anyone. We got pretty loud. I really meant to take the camera too, but I left it in the van when we left. Oh well. Loud noises and camera flashes probably would have been too much.
Becky says I'm camera happy. Perhaps. But what fun is a camera, especially a digital one, if you don't use it? So who cares if I take 40 pictures of old buildings??? I love old buildings! On our way to Brevard there are so many old barns and houses....I nearly had a conniption fit b/c we could stop and take any pictures!!! Wow. Maybe I'm a little obsessed? But seriously, sometime, once I have the fore mentioned license, I will just have to go drive around and take pictures of all these cool places that in 5 years most likely will have fallen down or been knocked down by over zealous contractors trying to fulfill the housing need put in place by yankee retireres moving here, and there fore changing everything that they may have liked about the area! ! Shoo-wee. That was one run on sentance! I have to catch my breath after writing it!
Ok. That's it for now folks!
Peace out!

Being camera happy is a GOOD thing, and wow KatieBeth has changed.
I'm glad you enjoyed the play. I'm all depressed that it's over. Not like depressed depressed, I'm just depressed.
*goes to strengthen vocabulary*
