Dum dum dum dum dum!

The Gallivanting Maunder

I'll Miss You (Mi Mancherai)

I’ll miss you, if you go away
I’ll miss your serenity
Your words like songs in the wind
And Love, that you take away.

I’ll miss you, if you go away
Now and forever I don’know how to live
And joy, my friend, goes away with you

I’ll miss you, I’ll miss you, because you go away
Because the love in you is dead
Because, because...
Nothing it’s gonna change, I know
And inside of me I feel you

I’ll miss you, I’ll miss you, because you go away
Because the love in you is dead
Because, because...
Nothing it’s gonna change, I know
And inside of me I feel you

I’ll miss the immensity
Of our days and nights,us together
Your smiles when it’s getting dark
Your being naive like a little girl

I’ll miss you, my love
I look at myself and I find emptiness inside of me
And joy, my friend, goes away with you

It's snowy

Well, winter can be over now that we have gotten a decent amount of snow. OK, there is one problem with trying to write in white, I can't see what I'm writing! So I guess I'll wait until I'm done writing to change the color to white. Anyway, due to the weather the referee recert clinic has been postponed. Whatever. I don't really care, all I want to do is get it out of the way.
There's a Carolina game today @ 12, I have 11 mins till tip off or whatever it's called. Oh, make that 10. Anyway... There's not really that much to talk about. I'll probably end up ranting about the game when it begins... I wonder, does it make it hard to read my posts because I hardly ever paragraph them? I should use paragraphs, they can be cool little things. Whoa, 1 min!
Yea, we're ahead. Wait, I'm not going to bore you. Sorry. I will say this though, media timeouts are so stupid. Sigh... who cares about the media?
well, I am going to go. Have a wonderful snowy day!

"I Dare You To Move"
Welcome to the planet
Welcome to existence
Everyone's here
Everyone's here
Everybody's watching you now
Everybody waits for you nowWhat happens next?

[Chorus:]I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before

Welcome to the fallout
Welcome to resistance
The tension is here
Between who you are and who you could be
Between how it is and how it should be

[Chorus]

Maybe redemption has stories to tell
maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here

[Chorus]

Red and grey

Today is very very very grey. It doesn't look @ all that cold, but if you stand oout side for 15 mins you start to freeze. Typing the offical way seriously is a pain. Whoa!! The sun just kinda came out! Sweet! I guess I should change the title to Red and yellow... Nevermind. Anyway... I have stayed @ or below 150 lbs for a week! I am so proud of myself. Not in a bad way. Today I went to a basket ball game. A bunch of guys from church play in the church YMCA league. And today they won! Whats the big deal? Well, They never win. LAst year the were the second to last team @ the end of the season. SO it's a big thing. But it was a very good game. They overcame foul trouble in the second half to win with a 14 point lead. Now doesn't that sound offical? Haha. I wish. It was kinda funny, When we got there, Stephen was the only none player there, then Mr Greg showed up, next all the Batchelders, then Kate and Sam with their mom and niece, and Stacie showed up for like 5 seconds. So we had a good cheering section. I'm planning on going next week. It was a lot of fun. I'm thinking about getting a new cell phone plan and passing my tracfone/nokia to Becky. We'll see.

Well, gotta go.
Later y'all.

Aha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Heheheh.... sometimes you just feel like laughing....AGH! What? A mosquito? Agh! Where did he come from? Well...ok.

Tar Heels beat Clemson last night! Haha! 77-58! Oh boom! And all the Clemson people were so sure they would win...they all ganged up on me. Sniff. But yeah! We saw!! Anyway...

Hold on....I'm cooking tonight (if throwing a few pizza's in the oven counts as cooking). So I'll be back and forth.

I watched the inauguration. It was nice... I thought it was cool @ the luncheon that Pres. Bush didn't drink any wine. I dind't think he would, but just seeing it was nice and reassuring.

Anyway.... wow, I'm such a good cook. Ha ha. Just kidding.

Well, I really have nothing else to say.

Good bye.

Life goes on reguardless

Well....Hi. As y'all know, Friday was the party for Abi. It went pretty well. There were a couple of things that shouldn't have happened, and I don't think I reacted in the right way, but all in all, I think that Abi had a good time and that's what matters the most. Like Becky said we stayed there until about 11 singing and dancing (I didn't sing, I played the piano). It was one of those things that doesn't fade into the backround of fun times, but stays and stands out for a while. I thought that was kind of poetic sounding.

Anyway... Started school again...yar. And piano. And Wednesday night church. So, everything is back to normal. A realitively normal. Now I could go into the whole thing, what is normal, yadda yadda. But I won't. I don't feel like ranting and raving right now.

Today is a very nothing day. A day that really isn't going to remeber for anything. A day where nothing really impoatant was accomplished.

Sigh......Um..no words left. So I shall leave you with a quote.

There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes. Doctor Who

Melissa and I in 2000. Isn't that funny? I found it @ church last night. We both look so different! Posted by Hello

The Gallivanting Maunder

Well...I feel very me right now...I can't explain it..it just is... it's a wonderul feeling.

One thing.

I have one thing to say. Whoever invented the typing method was and evil dictator who wanted to stunt our creativity!

Ok, check this out...

...Not a perfect person....

You know how someone will say "tell me about it?" Well, that has got to be one of the worst sayings in the world. Because, wehn you say it, you don't mean, tell me, you really already know all about it. Yes, I do knowthat it is a sarcastic saying, but it has got to be one of the worst.

I got this is my e-mail today. I thought it was funny.

ITALIAN PASTA DIET
IT REALLY WORKS !!

1) You walka pasta da bakery.

2) You walka pasta da candy store.

3) You walka pasta da Ice Cream shop.

4) You walka pasta da table and fridge.

Yeah, it's kinda corny, but I like it.

Abi came over yesterday, and I cut her hair. It was fun. And her hair turned out pretty good. She really liked it. I have before and after pictures...unfortunately I left the ditigel @ the Merkers Friday night...heheheh...so I have to wait for film to get developed.... Maybe today? Hmm...

Well, I have to go.

Well, not yet, the only reason I owuld be getting off is to use the phone, which my mother just picked up.

And I still have other blogs to visit...

I have stolen a quote from Ernie, I hope you don't mind! ;-)

"To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But then, one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be happy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness." -Woody Allen

Isn't that so true? There have been times when I didn't want to love anyone anymore because it hurt too much. But, I found a quote be Tennyson that said: It is better to have loved and lost, then to have never loved @ all.

I really want a 20's style, flapper dress. That would be so cool...
Oh! My word...I found the perfect prom dress...it's supposed to be a historical costume, but it's so pretty! Sigh.. It's Butterick pattern, their patterns are always good.

Well.............

Now I really need to go!

Fare thee all well.

2005

Happy New Year everyone! Though I suppose most of y'all are sock of the New Year already. I mean, come on, lets get on with our lives please! Anyway...

Last night I went to 2 different partys! The first one was @ church, and we stayed there until about 9:30. We played a couple games, ate food, joked around and drank coffee from Pastors Coffee Bar! We took Stacie with us to the Merkers. There we hung out, ate some more, played a few more games, watched the ball drop and sang Happy Birthday to Miss Debbi! Also, there was a foosball match going on between Amber and Erin, and Chris and Bradley (Ernie's Cuz). The guys won in the end, but it was really funny watching them go on and on and on...

Well, It's 2005. I have two resalutions.

  1. Take the time needed to build good strong friendships
  2. Keep off that extra 10 pounds.

So I join the millions of other people who make resalutions regaurding heath and weight and all that stuff. Makes me feel a little normal and degraded! I guess I really shouldn't...

Well, once again, Happy New Year. And remember, only you can prevent forest fires!!
