Bloggers ABC's People of the Year!

HA! Did anyone see ABC News last night? Because if you didn't, you really shuld of. They named Bloggers as their people of the year. How cool is that? becky has been saying each night: yep, tonight I'm the person of the year. Well, as it turned out, for once she was right! Anyway...thats so cool.

I'm glad y'all liked the first part of my story, now if only I can finish it...

Well, today is the last day of the year. I feel like I should say something important or sentimental or whatever. But I have nothing to say. I have said all I that I can to a few people and to my journal. So, I do apologize if I have indeed disapointed you.

Kaitlin is @ Walmart again, riding the ponys out in front until she runs out of quarters.

I have to make some kind of soup for the soup supper tonight @ church..something with chicken in it. Becky is so incompetent in the kitchen, and she doesn't even try to learn!

Did you know that on Google you get 5,190,000 hits for chicken soup! And 2,830,000 for chicken soup recipes! Amazing. I don't intend to try looking @ them all, but mybe I can find something! You'd think!

Maybe Chicken foot soup? Or CHICKEN SOUP AVGOLEMONO....what is avgolemono? It looks good..easy... hum. I think it's greek...

Wednesday night church was awesome. It was @ the Stiekes new apartment. Nice place. Pastor Stiekes got a espresso maker for Christmas and so of course was playing with his new toy and making anyone who wanted one some kind of coffee drink. It was awesome. And then Audrianna kidnapped me and we did her dolls hair! That was fun. Then a little monkey came into the room! But, in the end it wasn't a little monkey, it was a little boy!

Anyway...

I'm sick of chicken!

Well, I do believe I am done here.

Fare thee all well, and have a wonderful New Years Eve!

Merry Christmas!

Ah...welcome. I have been expecting you. Please, come in. let me take your coat, and come sit by the fire.

Ah, there, that's better no doubt. Aye, tis an awful night be to out, and yet I am very grateful that you've come.

Warmer now? Ah, good. I'll have more tea brought in, then I'll begin my story.

It was in the summer that I was 15. My father had just died, leaving my mother and I alone and with many debts to pay off. I was a young naive girl. Perhaps more naive than other girls my age because I was an only child and a spoiled one at that. But that's not what my story is about.

We had been a very rich family, but my father had made some bad choices and in the end, when all the doctors bills had been paid, we had very little money. My mother had an allowence of 3,000 pounds from her father before he had died, and it was this that we had to live on. Of course we couldn't stay in the house and keep on allo our servents, so when a letter came from my mothers batchlor brother inviting us to live with him, we were very grateful and accepted.

It took more than a month for all our affairs to be settled. But my mother wanted to make sure than everything was taken care of in a fair manner. Durning this time I was left very much to myself. I had only a few friends and not very good friends were they. When my father died and we lost our fortune they shunned me. But I look back upon those days as my last true time of childhood.

Finally everything was taken care of, and we set off in a rented carriege. My mother told me stories of her growing up days and the adventures that she and her brother had had when they were children.

Oh, but you are falling alseep. Not that I blame you, we have yet to get to the exciting part of my tale. Please, stay the night, and in the morning after breakfast we can continue. I shall ring Mary to prepare a room for you. Come along then. I do hope you sleep well. Don't hesitate to ring for a servent if there is anything you need.

And from Stacy, a gitterry candle and earrings. Anyway...we did some more shopping on Tuesday, and then Again on Wednesday before Church. I saw Abi @ Walmart. Then we went to church, which was nice. And Stacie gave me a L necklace and some earrings. Oh, and I found the place to get good cappicino's for cheap...Hess! Like, the gas station. yum! Anyway... Tomorrow I am giving Sharon the last half of her birthday present...lunch @ the Park Deli. We'll be doing some shopping and then seeing Finding Neverland. Finally it came here!

The stupidness of todays generation

Argh!! Ok..this evening was the Olde Fashioned Chrismas on Main St. It's alwats been fun in the past and so why would this year be any different? Well, for the most part it wasn't. For about two hours I was with Sharon, Chelsea, Amy and the Gesslers singing Christmas carols. There was even a news guy video taping us... and everyone watching clapped and looked like they enjoyed it and Santa stopped by!! So after doing that and freezing half to death (I think I'll be cold until July of 05) I went with Becky, Susannah, and Corrie. After a while we caught up with Amber, Erin, Chris, Jared, and Zachery. Who of course where goofing off and being crazy. Anyway....from that point on the night went no where good fast, or in other words, bad in a hurry. They were being loud, and rude to the people around them. Then Chris rolled a ball over a very nice BMW that was just sitting there, parked nicely, not hurting anyone. Next Candice showed up. And since all the boys have major crushes on her, things got even crazier. They took a 2x4 from the flower bed of one of the businesses, carried it down to the end of the block and left it in the middle of a parking lot!! Then down @ Amber's car they were being totally crazy. One of the things that really annoys me is that neither Erin or Amber did anything to calm them down or to stop them. Then we were waiting for Jared to come back up on Main St to meet his mom and he was not coming... not coming...and we had to get back to meet my mom. Now that may sound childish, me wanting to get back to meet my hoome on time, but its not really. I was being responcible and taking care of my commitment. Anyway....I was so mad I walked all the way up, like, 5 blocks, to meet mama by myself. Well......I'm sure you're tired of my complainings. But still...they way some people act is just foolish. Farewell.
