I had a comment from Ella.

"well the pres. Doesn't really have power over budget that goes (theoretically) to Congress, they have to pass any sort of budget the pres. Wants in place, anyone know the statistics for the Congress members accused of business/financial fraud? I'd be very interested." ( Hope you don't mind, Ella!)

I went to goggle and did a search on congress members accused of fraud.

There's a list of offences commented, and the number of congressmen who have done them.

Political Ramblings

Bush Has Promised to Pack the Courts with Right Wing Judges. Bush has pledged to continue to pack the courts with his right wing judicial nominees and has said that Antonin Scalia is his role model for Supreme Court judges. At a GOP fundraiser in March 2002, Bush said, “First, we’ve got to get good, conservative judges appointed to the bench and approved by the United States Senate.” Non-partisan studies have found that in civil rights and civil liberties cases, Bush’s judges made liberal decision only 26.5% of the time. [Bush Remarks at a Fundraiser for Senatorial Candidate John Cornyn; 3/28/02; Detroit Free Press, 6/19/00; “Redefining Rights in America: The Civil Rights Record of the George W. Bush Administration”, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, 9/04; Reuters, 9/9/04]

Ha! Ain't that great?? It was on Kerrys offical blog! I say, yeah! GO Bush!
The debate on Oct 13th, 2004:

How can Kerry promise to only spend such and such an amount? So can we (if he gets elected, God FORBID!) Make some law to keep him with in that amount??

Political Ramblings

Compared to the Vice Prez debate, the Prez debate on FDriday was rather boring. Kerry is not very comforting. He says one thing and then another, and then ties them both together. Altogether very confusing. Anyway...I'll probably talk more about this later. I am very tired (too many late nights and not sleeping well).

How many of you watched the debate last night? I thought that Cheney did very well. I don't think I have heard him talk that much before! I really liked the times when he sent those little "stingers" Edwards way. Such as Senetor Gone, just meeting him that night, and Edwards not being there to vote about more money for supplies for out troops overseas.

One of the big things that struck me was how much Edwards was just repeating what Kerry has said in the past. Can these people think for themselves? Its like they are just being puppets for the rich librials who want the USA to be under UN control.

IT gets very annoying to be always hearing the Kerry camp. to be always going back to Kerrys time in Vietnam. He only spent like 4 months there. And then came back and protested the war! Thats not very American to me. There are many, many, many of our troops out there who may not agree with the war in Iraq, but they are doing their job and not protesting it. They are doing their duty which is something that Kerry doesn't know a thing about.

Anyway....
